Tae Kwondo Training Syllabus:

SPARRING

Club sparring and competition sparring (optional). All matches are semi-contact with full safety equipment worn to aviod risk of injury.  The pace is fast and furious.  It has been described as the most visually breathtaking sport since chariot racing.  Winners are decided from a point stop system with referees constantly monitoring the bout to keep strick control on contact.

PATTERNS

Concentration, techinque, skill, balance, dynamics and elegance are just a few requirements needed to perform these sequences of prearranged movements against imaginary opponents.

SELF DEFENCE

This is taught from the very first lesson with pre-arranged movements against real opponents being introduced as the student progresses. This helps your confidence if you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in a dangerous situation.
